During the past twenty-five years Mitsuru has made more than forty woodblock and intaglio prints featuring birds. Twenty-three examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. The shapes and surface details of objects were both drawn very accurately but their colors were often simplified (e.g., pictures 3-20).
